Hello, my name is Kathleen. I'm raising funds on behalf of my sister Kris and her family for a funeral and memorial for her husband and my brother-in-law, Bud Allen. Bud is a lifelong Buckeye and a passionate Reds and Browns fan. Sadly, he has left this life after a long heroic battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Before his diagnosis, Bud was on long-term disability with no life insurance. In addition to taking care of Bud, Kris has been the 24/7 caretaker for our mother, who has begun a severe decline from the early-onset Alzheimer's she has suffered from for the last fifteen years. Unfortunately, Kris and Bud have no savings to draw from, and even with close family members contributing, the cost of Bud's funeral and memorial are unmanageable. Kris has never been one to ask for help - so I am asking for the assistance that she truly needs. All money raised will go to Kris to cover her husband's funeral and burial costs.
