Louis William (Billy) Birch

It is with a heavy heart that I write this. Our wonderful father/brother/cousin/grandfather/uncle/friend, William (Billy) Louis Birch, is in the hospital which he entered approximately two weeks ago. For roughly the last 10 days, Billy has been on a ventilator and despite his valiant efforts is losing his battle. As of last night he was 100% dependent on the machine to breath. Today, Billy entered comfort care.

As his family, we want you to know how much we love and appreciate Billy. He is a man who loves with his whole heart and is protective of those close to him. Billy has a great sense of humor and releases a boisterous jovial laugh when he cracks a sarcastic joke on you.

We are praying that this determined and strong-willed man fights back to join us but we also know that God’s plan will be done.

The family is asking for any donations to cover Bill’s medical and cremation expenses as he has been living on disability for the last few years. If you cannot donate, we ask that you please send prayers for the family, especially Bill’s son, as we all go through this difficult time together. Any donation, big or small, or prayer is deeply appreciated. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts ❤️

UPDATE: At the time of posting this, I just received word that the hospital is keeping Billy on the ventilator. He is a donor. They will begin surgery at 1:30pm CST. For his final gesture, Billy will be saving six lives. So typical of him. He was just that kind of man ♥️
