William Barry Jr. Was his birth name. To his mother and father and 6 sister he was known lovingly to us as Billy. But as he grew as a man in south Philly the streets affectionately gave him the name "Big Bill". We took on his name we were Big Bill sisters. Our brother was a very good drum play he use to entertain us, his sister. In the basement of our family home. He also gave drum lessons to some of his younger friends in South Philly. Big Bill/Billy left the street alone but he would travel back and forth to visit family and friends. Billy found love and married his beautiful wife Tonya and had 3 beautiful daughters. He was a devoted husband and father who loved and adored his 7 grandchildren. Not only did he get to marry the love of his life but he also found God! Billy and his family attended church and he was known for playing drum but also sing in his church was a member of the choir. When he song the gospel song Sovereign he would bring tears to your eyes.
