I am setting up this page on behalf of our family following the suddenly unexpected and devastating loss of our Son, Brother, Uncle, Dad, Grandad and Husband William Barclay aged 58 in the early morning of Monday May 26th surrounded by his family. Tragically also fell on his sons (my brother) Tom's 31st Birthday.
Seems so wrong, sick and twisted that im doing this again so soon after my Uncle at the start of the year. Again like with my Uncle im trying to take away some of the pressure for my Mum so that we can give my Dad the send off he deserves and ease the financial side of it all. We know times are hard for everyone, but as a family we will appreciate even the smallest amount of help.
My dad was the strongest, kindest most caring and loving person in the world. His family was his entire life and there wasn't anything he wouldn't do or give for any one of us if asked.
He had been through so much in his life with the loss of his best friend Ivan, his sister in-law Jacky, his dad Alan and most recent loss of his brother in-law David too. Whilst also being diagnosed with progressive MS in the middle of it all. He never let his MS hold him back though and still managed to be there for all of us and live a very happy life with his family.
His passing has left a huge hole in all of our lives and he will be forever missed by everyone. The only comfort we have is knowing he is finally free from his MS and reunited with all those so dear to him mentioned already and many more.
Funeral arrangements are still to be made but we will update with the details when we have them.
On behalf of myself and the rest of the family, thanks in advance for any help you can give.
Best regards
