In Loving Memory of William Anthony Apodaca Jr.
We are requesting funds to support the family of William Anthony Apodaca Jr. In 2015, William was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Cancer. After long and valiant battle, William was called Home by our Heavenly Father on the afternoon of Friday, September 13th, 2019. William is survived by his loving family, including a wife, 16 year-old son, and his best-dog, Spot.
William chose to share his brilliance and gifts with the world as a Registered Nurse in the greater San Diego area. He most recently worked in the NST ICU at Scripps Memorial in La Jolla, CA. Outside of work, William was a proud nerd and would never pass an opportunity to play with the latest and greatest technologies of the day.
During treatment, William was proud to be one of the first patient in San Diego County to receive the unique form of targeted cancer therapy. You can learn more about his story below:
