Sometime Monday morning, August 11th, 2025, William Adams, decided to take his life.

His son Helam has been a great and loyal friend to my family. We also experienced a loss recently in our brother Joey whom Helam served with on his mission. Helam has been an immense and reliable support to us during the difficult time.

William Adams grew up in a difficult home, but did not let that define him. He strove diligently to provide a home where his children could feel loved, safe and secure. He also served as a scout master where he made a difference not only for his own children, but hundreds of other young men, teaching them to be trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, and all other traits central to the scout oath and law.
