Will2Salon here, or specifically Will here, looking to try and raise a few Greenbacks to help facilitate a sale that hasn’t felt like it would ever happen.

In 2008, just before the Bubble burst I invested in Taos commercial property for my salon, paying top dollar for a supposedly no lose deal.

“In 50 years Taos real estate has only grown!”

Until I bought in of course.

Within 2 months the property was toast. Never to regain it’s sale price.

Oh I can use it, but resell? Ha, good luck.

Even now, new commercial property is being built but not bought.

Commercial rentals in Taos in the last 2 or 3 years have been to 12 Dispensaries, and they are obviously pretty maxed out.

I have been renting my space to a very talented Jeweler with the understanding that after a 5 years I wanted her and her family to own it.

Her renting has enabled me to escape and move to Albuquerque to be with my grandkids and my Boys.

The sale is taking longer than I would like but is in the process of happening!

Unfortunately, choices made in the last 10 years are having consequences; my beloved van Grandma Mellow died in Espy, and my Cursed Mercedes, the worst vehicle I’ve ever purchased has ceased cooperating.

More importantly, monies I thought I could defer until after my payout are being called in, I was thoroughly mistaken and I am challenged.

I am anxious to have this sale transpire but I need at least $2000 for monies to be paid, and a bit to bandage my wheels, the next vehicle will be found after The Sale!

My pride is being examined, as well as my financial state, money is something I turned my back on in that Dark Space, while still being as an ex called me, A CONSUMER.

I have actually learned to live on so much less, hell, I was basically a Nomad for a while. (TG I’m out of that phase!)

But times are different, and the Timing is short, too short to make up with hair color and haircuts!

I’m trying to keep my routine in Taos and this will help tremendously!
