Willadeans funeral costs and aid for Kenya

Our beloved Mom, Aunt, Sister, Cousin and friend, Willadean, unexpectedly passed in her sleep in the night of July 11th, 2025.

Willy dedicated most of her life to helping my grandma raise 11 grandkids. She showed up every morning, helped get us up, dressed, fed and out the door to school. She was always there to pick us up and walk us back home, where she helped with endless piles of laundry, cooking and cleaning, followed by baths and bedtime before she walked back home for the night. She was such a huge part of all of our growing up.

She went on to raise her now 12 year old granddaughter, Kenya, whom she has left behind in this tragedy. I know that for Kenya, this feels like not only losing a grandma, but a mom as well.

The funds raised here will help cover costs of her cremation and celebration and the rest of the funds will go to Kenya.
