Willa's Epilepsy Battle
Donation protected
My niece Willa (12yr) has been battling epilepsy since it showed its ugly head in September 2016. After managing and getting them under control Willa went basically seizure free from November 3rd 2016 - January 19th 2020 with some break through aura and audible seizure activity. Suddenly they returned with no answers why. She started suffering multiple Grand Mal Cluster seizures a day and throughout the night requiring constant monitoring. They have lasted up to 5 long minutes meanwhile her oxygen levels dropping which causes for serious alarm. She has spent countless hours in the hospital to try and find answers. Medical bills have been piling up for Ash and Doug before the cause of the seizures has even been found.
She is scheduled to go to Cincinnati Children's Hospital for a 5 day stay in the EMU (Epilepsy Monitoring unit) order to run tests including a Single-Photon Emission Computed Tomography Scan (SPECT), a radio active brain and body scan to detect blood flow. The SPECT Scan will take up to 6 hours.
More info on SPECT Scan
Ash, Doug, Willa, and Lila will all need to make the trip so your donation will help cover a place for them to stay during the tests as well as bills to come.

The French Family is no stranger to the hospital life. Lila their second daughter was born in 2012 with a birth defect called Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia leaving her with a 25% chance of surviving birth. Lila fights pulmonary hypertension, eats through a G-tube feeding tube, and will face huge struggles for the rest of her life.
Ash and Doug are the most incredible special needs parents. Though not ones to complain or ask for ANYTHING they are constantly hit with new struggles and roadblocks in their way. As a sister I want to take any stress away I can and I hope you can take the chance to donate and hopefully give them a sense of relief while they try and find answers for Willa and their family.

Thank you so much for reading and your thoughts we really really appreciate it.
