Hi, I'm Amy, 21 years old and from Antwerp, Belgium.

After finishing my dance training in Berlin in 2020, it all had to start for me and I would take the big step to a professional dance career. But then came the pandemic... So I had to maintain my fitness and skills on my own for almost a year, among others by taking online classes. Hereby incredible opportunities arrived for example classes with the Martha Graham School in New York.

Graham is a technique that I fell in love with from the very first class in Berlin. I love the precision, power and passion behind it. By being extremely inspired by their dancers, I dreamed of studying there one day, so recently I took part in the online audition and ... now I can proudly announce that I have been admitted.

Now, of course, I have to get myself to New York. Although I did some work, saved some money and applied for a job at the school, I could use some support to make it all financially possible.

My parents already strongly supported my first education in Berlin, I’m part of a big family, … so this US program comes a bit heavier financially.
