Update June 2024

You may or may not know last year, 2023 did not go as I hoped which was to receive a liver transplant. I became very ill in June of 2023 with an infection in my liver. I had several long hospital stays throughout the summer trying to recover from the infection and missing the opportunity for transplant in 2023. Fast forward now to May 2024. My transplant team is now at the University of Chicago Medical Center. My most recent scans were on May 29th and on May 30th I received approval from the University of Chicago Medical Center Tumor Board to move forward with liver transplant. I am still searching for a compatible gracious donor willing to donate a portion of their liver so that I can be free of cancer, survive and live a normal life again. Donor evaluations take time, and a list of willing donors can never be too long.

In summary, I need a liver donor now! It's a commitment of time for the testing, surgery, recovery and a commitment from the heart to save my life.

Donor Physical Requirements:

• Age: 18-55

• No major health issues (diabetes, kidney disease, etc.)

• Blood Type: A or O (pos or neg doesn't matter)
