Will Rainer’s 10 Year Anniversary for GraceHaven

Tax deductible

It was 10 years ago this month, that we celebrated the birth and death of our son, William Thomas Rainer.

While we only were able to spend 60 minutes with our son, Jess and I committed to making  Will’s legacy last. We are so thankful the Lord has used Will’s story numerous times over the past 10 years. As we approached this 10-year mark, God put GraceHaven Pregnancy Center on our hearts.

This past Thanksgiving, I (Rachel) was able to tour this new pregnancy center. The pregnancy center has  meaning to me, as my sister, Sarah, was adopted from the same agency that GraceHaven partners with. My sister is now the Director of Operations of the Baptist Children's Home (GraceHaven falls under her leadership).

We know that GraceHaven is going to make a huge impact in the years to come. They are focused on providing life to the unborn. We remember so vividly 10 years ago when the doctor who gave us Will's diagnosis told us that "unfortunately we were not able to abort." Our immediate response was that Will was our child that the Lord created and that wouldn’t have been an option anyway. We believe GraceHaven carries that same passion that all children deserve life.

As we celebrate 10 years of the life and death of William Thomas Rainer, we want to support the wonderful work of GraceHaven: A Pregnancy Resource Center. We will be raising money through the month of February.

GraceHaven is a pregnancy resource center focused on supporting moms who are going through unplanned pregnancies. GraceHaven is a ministry of the Illinois Baptist Children's Home and Family Services.

We would be honored for you to consider giving to GraceHaven in Will’s honor. GraceHaven is a safe place for women and men to get accurate information about the options for their pregnancy, this includes emotional and material support. Every woman is able to get an ultrasound the moment they have a positive pregnancy test (unlike most pregnancy centers). Please consider giving to this beautiful center and to give hope to mothers and fathers, and ultimately their fearfully and wonderfully made child.

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because you are fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, l know that full well." Psalm 139:13-14

Sincerely,

Jess and Rachel Rainer
