Imagine learning one of your best friends has Stage 4 Prostate Cancer that has spread to lymph nodes and needs highly specialized expensive treatment to survive. It shatters your world, so you can only imagine what it must be doing to him.

You just want to DO something to help him! You want to relieve some of his stress any way possible so he can focus on fighting, on living. Imagine facing the daunting physical side effects of treatment and trying to work. Imagine facing the anxiety and stress of the mountain of the off-the-chart financial avalanche headed your way while trying to focus on your wellbeing.

Everyone who knows Will Lilley has been blessed in some way through his unconditional love, support and zest for life. We know his compassion and loyalty to those he loves. His door is always open, and everyone is welcome at Lilleyville. Will is a blessing to everyone he knows and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He’s helped many of us through our own struggles (some he may not have even been aware of), always there to lend his kindness and homemade comfort food. He is humble and would never ask for help, because in his big and selfless heart, he believes others are struggling with more … That’s our Will.

His treatment is highly specialized and has to be spread over a longer period of time due to pre-existing heart health issues, not to mention being expensive beyond what most could afford. Just two of his meds are $1700 per month (yes, per month, and all out of pocket) for the next 2 ½ years. Do the math.

All this while working part-time when he is able.

We are sharing Will’s story to hopefully help reduce some of the worry about medical expenses and other financial responsibilities. He won’t ask, so we are asking for him.

The definition of a strong WILL is being very determined to do something even if others believe it cannot be done. Our WILL is strong and loves life.
