Will McDonough

Hello all,


My name is Matt McDonough, in the early morning of August 26th I received a call that no family member ever wants to receive.  My younger brother had been in a terrible car accident.  He had been ejected from the vehicle as a passenger and the car rolled over the top of him.  By the grace of god, his life was spared.  He miraculously avoided any type of head trauma but his pelvis had been crushed and his lower spine was disconnected.  The doctors were not sure on his prognosis at the time but he was stable and somewhat coherent.  I write to you today to ask for help on his behalf. 


Many of you in the Palouse already know my brother Will and his story.  While his life was spared, there is still considerable fallout from the accident.  He is expected to recover, but how much remains to be seen.  His life has been forever altered.  He is still in a wheel chair and unable to walk to even stand.  My brother is a stubborn and fiercely independent person but he is also struggling financially with this injury.  He is without any type of work or income until he can advance his physical therapy, which is still months away. I do not doubt his will or resolve to recover but until that time comes he is in need of help from any and all who are willing.


I write this to ask any and all friends, family and acquaintances to donate to his cause and help him to get back on his feet.  The funding would be directed to his shelter, food and day to day living costs.
