Help support Will McAndrew in his recovery process

Donation protected
I am a close friend and confidant of Will aka Mr. Bill aka #gettothegig. He has been a very caring, attentive, supportive, and considerate friend to me over the years.

As some of you know, Will has just been discharged from his second stint in the hospital over the past 2 months. An optimistic recovery period for his condition is a little over 6 months meaning he can not work much especially in the touring scope in which he makes the vast majority of his living. Needless to say, the world is still turning and he is still responsible for living expenses.

With his consent, I am making this gofundme in hopes that folks that know him and have a little extra cash to spare will be able to contribute. I know he has contributed to many other mutual aid efforts.

He has probably made you laugh, bought you a drink, brought some of your favorite bands to Philly, booked your band a gig, or had a hand in entertaining you at some point in some way. If you had the pleasure of meeting Will in any capacity please consider donating.

The following is something Will wrote:
A little life update - after 23 days in the hospital I am back at home. Starting in late May I had a bought with diverticulitis (maybe you've heard of it from your fat Italian uncle or for taking out infamous Brooklyn Parks & Rec employee Peter Steele) that was moments away from going septic and have been dealing with it ever since. I ended up having to have a section of my colon & my fistula appendix removed, my insides were described as looking like a bomb went off. I face a hopeful 6-month recovery before being able to have a final follow-up surgery, but that's something to be taken a day at a time. I had to miss nearly a month of touring work which I was depending on and will have to take a step back from touring for at least the next few months. Sadly I wasn't financially prepared for this hit so my intimate friend Amy O has very kindly set up a gofundme for me as a lil passing of the hat to help me make rent, bills, groceries, and help cover any unexpected medical hiccups for a bit. No help is expected as there are so many people who need so much right now, but all help is appreciated.
