Will is 15 years old and is very excited to be a part of the paws4people family! He has autism, epilepsy, scoliosis and anxiety. He has a hard time coping when things change and social skills don’t come too easily for him. He often has a lot of anxiety when he is overwhelmed by school, social settings or strong emotions. Will bumped with RECON in March 2016. RECON will assist Will with alerting him to his anxiety and seizure response when/if Will has a seizure. Will’s family is thrilled to have RECON join their family and hope that Will will become more confident and will learn better coping skills when things change. Will and RECON make an awesome pair and we are excited to see them grow together!
RECON is a Tribute Puppy named in memory of an attack on 23 April 2007, United States Army 5th Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment Patrol Base in As Sadah, Iraq. The attack resulted in the death of nine Troopers and the wounding of at least twenty more.
