Will i am's Tour De 4 Fundraiser to Fight Cancer

Raising money for Maggies Forth Valley

I am being challenged to complete 1-20 mins on a static bike as part of Sir Chris Hoy's charity bike ride aimed at shining a spotlight on Stage 4 cancer diagnosis. Now, back in the day, when I was healthy and fit, I could have churned out 100 miles on a bike and really enjoyed the buzz and the Challenge.

Unfortunately, my health has changed significantly, and as a stage 4 cancer patient, who has now endured 50 sessions of chemotherapy (which is ongoing), this may be way more challenging than my previous 100 miles.

I have reduced energy levels, significant breathing issues, loss of appetite and a list of side effects to deal with that are too long to list.

Please dig deep and give as much as you can afford, and if that is nothing at all, I'll happily accept all encouragement you have to offer. Thanks in advance on behalf of Maggies and myself.

Maggies Forth Valley

Maggie's cancer services - support when you need it

Whatever kind of cancer, and whatever stage you’re at – we're here for you.

Their centres are a space for being together or for a moment alone, for getting going again or for meeting people who just get it.

All their cancer support specialists have expert knowledge about cancer and treatment, and many are NHS-trained.
The kettle's already on – just come in.
