Will's Xmas Wish: Universal Studios w/ the Family
William is a wonderful little man who is fighting against a life threatening heart disorder. This disorder is called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, or HLHS. Since his first open-heart surgery at just 10 days old he has been fighting and he is still fighting to this day.
Will still wears a smile every step of the way. He is a very special 9 year old boy. He's witty with a lot of enthusiasm and excitement for life and he tries his best to live as normal a life as possible. He has a major love for race cars and other things that go fast. Even more amazing, is his love for reading and school. He has been mostly pulled from school in recent months, and his father, Jay, said "man the only thing he wants to do right now is go to school and learn with the other kids. But with his immune system, we just can't do it." Will also loves Football. So much so that over the past few years, even though his health didn't allow him to play, he has been on the field at every home game as the water boy.
William has #WILLPOWER.
Will has had over 40 surgeries, including a Full Heart Transplant at age 6. Unfortunately his donor heart is now failing, leaving Will and his family looking for the next best treatment with limited options.
Will's parents are trying hard to give their son the best Christmas they can this year and praying it will not be his last. The team at Fitfo has teamed up to make Will’s Christmas wish come true - a family trip to Universal - But we need your help!
We’ve donated 75 limited edition hoodies and are sending them out to all you great people that have donated > $100 to Will’s Xmas dream.
We have the opportunity to come together as a community and grant him and his family a wish come true. We may not be able to help Will medically, but we can most Definitely help him and his family in these final months. The family will be eternally grateful for any and all support for William through these difficult times.
