Will & his family
Donation protected
On Tuesday, September 29, Will Burke suffered a stroke at age 45. He has been in ICU at Richland, WA for 24 days. He will be transferred to Kindred Hospital in Seattle, WA on October 22 for stroke recovery rehabilitation services. At this specialized hospital, he will receive occupational and speech therapies, respiratory therapy including ventilator weaning and tracheostomy management. He will receive ongoing and intensive support for all of his needs, including dialysis for his kidneys. He will also need ongoing physical therapy.
Will and his family will have many medical bills and travel expenses as the family plans weekly visits from Pasco, WA to Seattle, WA (3.5 hours away through a snowy mountain pass).
He is married to Tiffany Burke and has four children, Jack Burke (6), Sophia Burke (16), and his bonus daughters, Victoria Nunez (24) and Valerie Nunez (21). Will is a high school teacher at Kiona-Benton City High School. He has family in St. Louis, MO and is a loyal St. Louis Cardinals fan.
We need Will to return to his family with FULL recovery. The family will need supplemental support as Will's recovery will be long-term. We also want to ensure family will be by his side as much as possible and unburden them from incurring travel expenses. Also, his income will be drastically reduced without full-time employment in the coming months.
Please join me to support Will and his family. Please lift them up in prayer for a full recovery of Will-husband, father, teacher, brother, son, and friend.
