On Februrary 25, 2019, Jacob was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) out of the blue. He had no symptoms or any indication that anything was wrong besides some abnormal labs on a routine check-up. He started chemotherapy the next day not giving us much time to prepare for anything.
With a little baby girl due in May, this news couldn't have come at a worse time. When she arrives, Jacob will only be through with 3 out of his 8 cycles of chemotherapy, which means our resources are very tight.
Please do not feel obligated to donate $$ - I know some people are wanting to help but we don't yet know what we need/want. If you feel the urge to help, please consider a donation to support our family.
To follow Jacob's (and my) journey through ALL, chemotherapy, pregnancy and birth, go to https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/jacob.wilke for frequent updates.
