Meet my dad, Wilfrido Ochoa. He’s 65 years old and doing his dental practice in North Baja.
Recently he was diagnosed with Hepatitis C which is now affecting his liver causing cancerous tumors, or as medically named, hepatocarcinomas, which can spread if not treated immediately.
Unfortunately his hepatitis C is a result of blood transfusions received at a hospital in Mexico City years ago, when he ended up with a punctured lung after being brutally assaulted with an ice pick, which almost costed him his life.
The Hepatitis C treatment itself, which is the first step to helping him get better, consists in 4 boxes of a medication named Epclusa, that’s worth over $42,000usd, besides the medical expenses, treatments and surgery he will need for his liver.
I have created this account for him, with the hopes of getting to this goal throughout the help of all our friends, family, institutions and anyone who wants to contribute to saving his life.

Desafortunadamente su hepatitis C, es resultado de las transfusiones sanguíneas recibidas en un hospital, años atrás, al ser internado de emergencia en un hospital de La Ciudadela de Mexico, a causa de un pulmón perforado, al ser atacado brutalmente con un pica hielos, lo cual casi le causa la muerte.
