Wilfredo was a loving husband to his Wife Maria Father to 4 and a Grandfather to 7. He was loved by all including the table tennis community. Nelson (his son) received about 50 phone calls from all over the United States, the news had spread in the Table Tennis Community that Wilfredo is not doing good . I had the privilege to hear all of the stories from his friends saying such kind and beautiful things about Wilfredo.

Two years ago Wilfredo was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. He put up a tough battle and fought hard but eventually the Cancer took over resulting in Wilfredo peacefully passing away last night. April 17th.

With his morning family , especially his beloved Wife, we want to give Wilfredo Escobar the Memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Wilfredo’s funeral. We need to raise 15,000 by May 11th in order to be able to afford the funeral service. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciate by the bottom of the families hearts , thank you so much for your time . A date, time, and location for the memorial service will be forthcoming.
