Dear Friends and Family,
In the midst of our collective grief and sadness, we find ourselves reaching out to our community for support and assistance.
On August 30th, we lost a pillar of our family, our beloved father, Wilfredo Burgos.
Dad was diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer in March. Despite the brutal nature of this disease, he faced his diagnosis with immense bravery and grace. His resilience and spirit shone through, even in the face of such adversity, and his fight against cancer was inspirational to all of us.
His journey was, unfortunately, far too short. Within five months, we had to say our goodbyes. This swift progression left us with little time to prepare financially for a reality we were not ready to accept.
Wilfredo lived a life full of love, kindness, and generosity. He was a beacon of light and hope to all who knew him. His laughter was infectious, his wisdom profound, and his love for his family knew no bounds. His memory is a keepsake from which we'll never part. God may have him in his arms, but we have him in our hearts.
The cost of final arrangements, however, can be staggering and we are asking for your help in this difficult time. All funds raised will go directly towards the costs associated with Wilfredo's funeral services, medical bills and other related expenses. Any amount you can contribute is deeply appreciated and will help us navigate this challenging time.
We know that Wilfredo touched many lives during his time with us. If you have any stories or memories of him that you would like to share, we encourage you to do so in the comments. Your support, be it through a donation or a shared memory, means the world to us.
We want to extend our deepest gratitude for your support in our time of need. Thank you for honoring Wilfredo's memory with us. With love and gratitude, The Family
