Wiley Toombs Medical

Hi, my name is Kathy Harper, and I am asking for help with Medical and Funeral expenses for Wiley Toombs. There was no insurance, and everything will be used to offset bills and funeral costs. Back in June, thinking he had just torn his MCL, doctors told him he had a tumor in the bone under his knee cap. On July 1st, he went in to have the tumor removed; they told his wife of less than a year that it was cancerous. After running multiple scans, tests, etc., they found other tumors in his bones, one in his pancreas, a couple of unspecified masses, and enlarged lymph nodes throughout his body. All of the biopsies came back as "inconclusive " as to what type of cancer it was. His official diagnosis was Metastatic Adenocarcinoma with the pancreas as "possible" primary source. We were hoping to be able to do some type of treatment, but unfortunately, the cancer was too aggressive and, he had started having complications with the function of his kidneys, liver and heart. On August 8th Carrie brought him home to spend his final days.

On August 19th Wiley passed away with family and friends by his side. While losing her husband and best friend, Carrie has been left with mounding hospital and funeral expenses. We can help ease this burden for her if we all pull together. Wiley was one of the most giving people I have ever known and would be the first to offer help. He would have given all he had to help any of us, so I ask that we all pull together and help him one last time. If you can help with anything, nothing is too small.
