Since I was a little girl, I have always loved wildlife, especially those of the African Savanna. It has been a dream of mine to go to Africa and study these magnificent animals since I could remember. The Ocean's Campus Wildlife Research Internship is set in Mossel Bay, South Africa and provides hands on experience doing field research with a variety of wildlife. I had the privilege of working with wildlife for almost three years at Chestatee Wildlife Preserve in North Georgia. I enjoyed working at the preserve, but I would like to study the animals in their natural habitat. This internship will allow me to do so. I received my Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of North Georgia and I hope this internship will help me determine what program I will apply to for graduate school. I have a strong drive and passion for wildlife conservation and the experience I gain from this internship will help me be a part of the continuous research and conservation of all wildlife.Check out what I will be doing!
