Hi! We are Anthony and Kris and we have started a beautiful regenerative farm and slow tourism project in Sicily.
We are inviting you to become an ambassador of our revolutionary regenerative homestead concept in Sicily by adopting an (organic) olive- or almond tree. How it works:
1. Donate 200 euro to adopt a (olive or almond) tree on our land - of course you can also adopt more trees :)
2. We will contact you to confirm your adoption (and for the name you would like to give your tree and your address details).
3. You will receive an adoption certificate and a picture of your tree by email.
4. We will take very good care of your tree during your adoption period of 3 years.
5. For 3 years in a row (starting in 2024) you will receive a harvest package to your home address. Either 500 ml. of hand harvested, cold pressed organic olive oil, or 500 g. of hand harvested, organic almond flour. Harvest season is usually from September to November, depending on weather conditions. You will have your fresh produce from Sicily at home right in time for the Holiday season!
The final packaging might look different than this image
6. You are invited to come and join us for the almond and olive harvest on our Wild Hearts Homestead in Sicily.
Our Story
Our property is called Wild Hearts Homestead and our mission is to create a place where you can stay in a natural tiny house, slow down, reconnect with nature, eat our organic, home grown and home cooked foods, practice yoga, and enjoy all the beauty that Sicily has to offer. At the same time we regenerate the land, practice permaculture, grow lots of trees, fruits, vegetables and flowers and enhance the biodiversity of the area.
To accelerate the development of our regenerative homestead and to increase the impact of our project we have set up this crowdfunding campaign, so you can really be part of our adventure and share in the fruits of of labour of love!
We want to create a place where tourism, nature, tradition and regenerative agriculture go hand in hand. We want to invite people from all over the world to experience a new way of vacationing that is not just sustainable, but actually REGENERATIVE.
The land we bought has been farmed for over a century and has been worked organically for more than 20 years. It has been abandoned for a decade, but we are starting to renovate and rebuild the 12 hectares of land in a regenerative way. We will work according to permaculture principles and only use organic and natural farming methods, install renewable energy sources, a natural pool and a root cellar. We are going to plant a food forest and a big, organic vegetable garden, which harvests we will use in our Garden to Table brunch restaurant.
If you have any questions about our project or if you would like to invest in the development of Wild Hearts Homestead in another way, please feel free to contact us. We are happy to hear from you.
Much love,
Anthony and Kris
