Wildfires are devastating Patagonia, Argentina. We are the Trevelin Neighborhood Brigade, a community group fighting one of the worst fires in our history in Los Alerces National Park, Epuyén and El Hoyo city.

Homes have been destroyed, families have lost everything, native forests are burning to the ground with an estimated loss of more than 30.000 hectares and counting, since the fires are still raging on! These figures are preliminary estimates and may increase as the fire continues and new official reports are released.

With little to no government support, neighbors and volunteer firefighters are doing everything we can to protect the land and the community.

Your donation will help us purchase essential firefighting equipment, fire-resistant protective gear, medical supplies, water pumps, hoses, and fuel to keep crews and equipment moving. Every contribution makes a real difference.

Our team is based in Trevelin and also working remotely from different parts of the world, coordinating logistics, communications, and international fundraising efforts. At this moment, part of our team is working from the Netherlands and Italy to support the fight against these wildfires.
