Wildfires destroyed their home

Hi, Im Brandy Brooks and On Monday November 28th, when the Gatlinburg Wildfires got out of control my mother (Stephanie Phillips), my 15 year old brother ( Brandon Vanes) and my step dad Jeff Deets lost everything they own. They literally made it out with the clothes they had on their backs and Jeff's truck. They lost their rental condo with all their personal belongings (they did not have rental insurance ), their fur baby cat, and my mother's car were also lost in the fire . My mother (Stephanie) and Jeff both worked at the Sky lift in Gatlinburg (which is also damaged) so they won't have immediate jobs to go back to either. My brother is a 15 year old sophomore at Gatlinburg- Pittman High School and was in the band. With everything being gone and they are currently staying in a hotel for $50 a night and the resources are going to run out quick. We have been blessed and had a lot of clothing and basic necessity given to them by red Cross and local charities and family members. The purpose of the fund is to help them get enough money to get a deposit for a new rental, utilities and other necessities and furnishings. I know it's so close to Christmas and there are thousands of others in the same position but every little bit helps. They need help to get them back to some sort of normalcy and out of a hotel.
