Sask Wildfire Relief-Animal Welfare

The Pack Project Inc.

As many Canadians are aware, the wild fires in Northern Saskatchewan are displacing thousands of people. Many communities to date have been evacuated and people are being moved as far south as Regina.

With evacuations, we also see a large number of animals who are stray, released, abandoned, as well as owned animals who are unable to stay with their families, due to being rehomed in public centers.

The Pack Project Inc., along with many other animal organizations around the province are working hard to secure transport, donations, food, supplies and homes for these animals. The funds raised will be used to:
-transport food and supplies to northern communities (gas, trailer rentals)
-transport and house animals temporarily/until adopted
-get veterinary care for any animals injured in the fire or that have been stray for some time.
-supply the hard to get donated items such as leashes and kennels.
-help pet owners house and feed their pets until they can return home.

Please consider donating. If you are unable to donate, please visit us at and fill out a volunteer application to help in other ways.

**Please note The Pack Project Inc., is not a registered charity, only a registered Non-Profit. We are unable to give tax receipts at this time.
