The Wildfire Relief Fund serves as an ongoing fund that supports urgent and long-term relief efforts for wildfire victims and those coordinating relief efforts across the US. This includes efforts such as building temporary shelters, distributing food and water, providing medical care, and more.
To help the Colorado community recover from the devastation of the Marshall and Middle Fork wildfires, GoFundMe.org reopened this ongoing Wildfire Relief Fund on December 31, 2021. This Fund previously benefitted communities affected by wildfires in 2020 and 2021, raising a total of $516,000 that was granted to individuals directly affected by the fires and charities aiding in recovery efforts. Specifically, about $80,000 was raised 2021 and $435,580 was raised during the 2020 wildfire season.
Donations made on or after December 31, 2021 will be quickly distributed to vetted individual GoFundMe fundraisers and charities working to support those affected by the Marshall and Middle Fork fires.
