Wildfire Relief Fund 2022

Every year, devastating and destructive wildfires burn millions of acres across the United States, taking the lives and homes of too many. With another wildfire season upon us, we are starting this fundraiser to support those impacted by wildfires in 2022. Funds raised will help a wide range of relief work from providing shelter, food and other needed supplies, to supporting long-term recovery and relocation efforts, and to fund firefighter training and resources as they work to contain these fires.

Wildfire Areas We are Aiming to Support Include:
  • New Mexico
  • California
  • Arizona
  • Texas
We will continue to monitor the location of fires and add to this list to reach as many as possible.

This fundraiser is a centralized place to give that will disperse donations directly to verified GoFundMe fundraisers to directly help individuals personally impacted and vetted nonprofit organizations providing relief.

Thank you for supporting those who face a long road to recovery. We will post updates as grants are made.

If you have or know a fundraiser that may qualify for a grant, please submit it here for review.

GoFundMe.org is a 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 81-2279757). Its mission is to provide fast and effective relief to victims of disaster, and to fund education and other charitable initiatives. In its first 5 years of operation, GoFundMe.org raised over $140 million, for distribution to vetted nonprofit organizations serving the same mission, and to verified individuals who are part of the charitable class. GoFundMe.org eliminates the paradox of choice for donors by providing one centralized place to give, knowing that those dollars are efficiently dispersed to the right organizations and people. Donations to this fund are tax-deductible to the extent permissible by law.
