After 42 years my grandparents have lost their beautiful Detroit home to the fires in the canyon. They raised 6 children in those walls and were always a welcoming second home for me, my friends and many others. My whole life I have seen them spend every spare moment working on the house or the yard. It was warm, busy, and full of memories.

The fire was swift and evacuation was sudden. They got themselves and the cat out, but very little else. It is hard to comfort them and many have already helped so much. If you are able to contribute then please do. One love❤️
