Chile is facing a devastating wildfire emergency that has caused loss of life, mass evacuations, and widespread destruction. As fires continue to spread, Bomberos de Chile (Firefighters) are bravely working on the front lines to protect communities and save lives. Firefighters in Chile are volunteers and rely heavily on community support and crowdfunding to operate.

To further our impact, we will also be donating to Grupo de Rescate e Intervenciones Multidisciplinarias (ONG GRIM), a non-profit organization dedicated to search and rescue operations and to providing people affected by the fires with basic necessities during emergencies.

Chile Unido Toronto, a community-based not-for-profit organization, is raising funds to directly support these emergency responders. In 2024, we raised $20,000 for wildfire relief following the fires in Viña del Mar, demonstrating our commitment to transparency and community action.

All funds raised will be donated directly to Bomberos de Chile and ONG GRIM.
