Wildfire Recovery: Support My Mom’s Business Rebuild
Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Kevin Arbelaez. I come to you today with a heavy heart but also with hope. My mother recently lost her home in the California wildfires—an unimaginable tragedy that not only took away her place of living but also wiped out all the equipment and materials she had built up over 15 years for her party setup business. If you’d like to learn more about her work and see what she has created over the years, please feel free to visit her instagram @creationsbymartha
This is the third time in her life she has had to start all over: first in Colombia when I was a child, again when we moved to the United States, and now once more after this devastating fire.
Despite these hardships, I have no doubt that my mom has the strength and resilience to rebuild. However, at this stage in her life, I want to make the process less overwhelming for her. My siblings and I are doing our best to help, but we recognize we can’t do it alone. Therefore, I humbly ask for any assistance you can provide. Your contributions, no matter how small, will go toward replacing her essential equipment so she can restart her business.
I know so many people have been affected by these fires and are also in need of help. Any support you can offer—whether it’s donating or sharing this campaign—will mean the world to us. Thank you for taking the time to read my family’s story and for any help you can give. We are incredibly grateful for your kindness.
