McKinney wildfire recovery for Bridgette and Ken
Donation protected
The McKinney Fire has devastated the community of Klamath River, California.
My sister Bridgette and her partner Ken lost the house they lived in and most of their belongings. Their car still runs but was damaged in the fire.
Both artists, sweet souls and genuinely good people - they are hard workers and have been helping their community for years.
Ken is a General Contractor, a talented musician and wonderful vegan chef.
Bridgette is a gifted artist, yoga teacher and a "Jill of all trades." She might be painting a neighbor's fence, designing landscapes, teaching someone how to make nutritious meals or dressed up as a fairy painting faces at a birthday party.
Together they run their own small businesses and love to travel, spreading love and bringing joy everywhere they go. They never take anything for granted and have worked hard for everything they have.
Anyone who has met them will tell you how kind, generous and loving this couple is. Let's help them get back on their feet.
All of their work supplies are gone. Power tools, implements, building materials, culinary equipment, workspace, instruments and artwork - all burned with the house, shed and the rest of their belongings.
Anything at all will be greatly appreciated.
