Hero has been thrown around a bit, as of late.
I do not use it as freely, especially when referring to a likely bias.
My two sons, and my daughter in law earned that respect in the middle of the night - last.
The youngest (just 14 years old) is visiting the eldest (25), and his lady in Nelson, British Columbia Canada - sleeping on the chesterfield.
He woke to realize their home was on fire.
He ran into their room, to wake the two seasoned wildfire fighters.
Those beauties sprung into action.
They triaged it, James took last man out, and Laura kicked down all the neighbours' doors.
The team saved everyone - no casualties, long before backup arrived.
Colty managed to also rescue Cute and Meow, his two stuffies, as well as his PS5.
They of course, lost everything.
I could not be more proud, or devastated.
Thanks for looking, and if a dollar or so proposes no hardship to you or your family, my gratitude.
There are enough details here, that I am sure you can authenticate this with some news source - I cannot watch quite yet.
Stay safe and vigilante folks, and hope for the best for your families, when the unexpected arrives.
Thanks for looking my friends.
Ps.
Koa the couple's new one eyed rescue dog is also safe at the hotel.
