Wildfire Emergency Relief for LA's Immigrant Community

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Geneva Huang, and I’m a high schooler from LA passionate about supporting the Los Angeles community as it recovers from the devastating California wildfires. This cause is especially close to my heart because of the large immigrant population in LA that has been deeply affected. Many families have lost their homes, belongings, and livelihoods, and for some, the fear of reaching out for help is heightened, particularly during a time when the incoming federal administration has made immigrant communities feel vulnerable.

Through this fundraiser, I hope to provide tangible support to these families by raising money for organizations offering direct relief, including housing assistance, meals, and rebuilding efforts. It’s my goal to ensure that everyone, regardless of their background or status, feels seen, supported, and cared for during this challenging time.

I will be working with the LA County Small Business and Worker Relief Fund, which will provide direct financial support to workers impacted by the Windstorm and Wildfires of January 2025. The funds will be transferred to a contribution website managed by the County of Los Angeles.

Every contribution—big or small—can make a meaningful difference in helping these families rebuild their lives. Thank you for standing with me to support this resilient community.
