Wildfire destroys home of Bob and Elsa Goodwin

My parents, Bob and Elsa Goodwin lost their home including everything in it in the devastating Slater Fire in Happy Camp CA on September 8th, 2020. All facilities on the property were a complete loss including a garage, barn, chicken coop, and well pump house. They even had a fire proof gun safe inside their home that was completely destroyed due to the intense fire behavior. Bob is a retired CHP Officer and former Marine. My mom works at the Karuk Tribe Housing Authority as a Tenant Relations Officer. Bob and Elsa are the kind of people who have always helped those in need and have done a lot for their community over the years. We would love to be able to help them get back on their feet. These funds will go directly to Bob and Elsa to replace immediate need personal items and rebuild their home. Anything will help ease the burden for them. Thank you!
