For those who don’t know us! I’ll tell you a little about who we are and why we are! 

We are Conservation Ambassadors or Zoo To You for the long time supporters and community :) 
 

Our mission: 

Giving a world wide voice to wildlife by providing a permanent, loving home for displaced, abused, abandoned or permanently injured wild and exotic animals – sharing these animal ambassadors through our Zoo to You and Wild Things outreach programs with school children and learners of all ages to educate them about conservation, connect them to the wild world, and inspire them to protect the planet

We are writing you today requesting assistance in a crisis that is hitting us hard.  If you are able to help please go to our website www.zootoyou.org or here and donate what you can.

You know we don’t send out many (or any) donation requests to you so you can imagine our great need.  Due to Corona Virus and COVID19 fears, schools are cancelling any large gatherings until further notice.  As most of you know, 95% of what we do are school assembly programs.  We see over 300 schools every year.  Although we are inexpensive to the schools, they comprise the majority of our funding.  We operate in a deficit through much of the winter and recover fully in the spring.  Most schools book us for our conservation wildlife programs from March through June.  We are receiving dozens of calls a day right now cancelling due to virus fears and it’s increasing by the minute as you can imagine.  We rely on thousands of dollars a day this time of year to survive and recover.  We are devastated.

We will be concentrating on the basics of animal care and unavoidable expenses through this crisis. We are working on producing some small onsite events and anything else we can do to help raise small funds.  We are truly hoping you have the means to help us right now in this immediate need.
