This year we decided that our annual Moel Famau walk isn't gonna cut it! (Try telling 6/7 year olds who cry the whole way up that!) .
So the Wildcolts U6s & Thundercolts U7s have decided to have a summer of fundraising for new equipment, fees and to help with the running costs of our amazing girls football teams.
Our WILD summer of THUNDraising (do you like we what we did there ) will begin with our first Event on June 8th when not only will some of the Girls and Siblings be taking part in a 1km run but the parents/family members will also be doing their part by running either the 5km or 10km in the Port Sunlight Run!
We will then push through to Mid July where we will then hold our annual Moel Famau Hike as a team to reach the top and wave our Victoria Colts Flag with pride (and drink lots of water and wipe the tears whilst having a rest before the descent which is fuelled with lots of "are we done yet?, Can you carry me? My feet are sore?")
And if those two events weren't enough to put our amazing teams through just before our season begins at the beginning of August we will be holding a whopping "2000 Toe Tap" marathon during one of our training sessions were as a team our girls will collectively Toe Tap 2000 times!! Which for little feet is a huge achievement if we can reach it and a hell of a way to end our summer of fundraising!!
So please if you can share, like or donate,we would be so grateful ,our girls really are a fabulous bunch who are more than just a football team, they have built their own little football family and we want to support them in everyway we can going into the next season.
Let's go Colts ⚽❤️
