Howdy!

Over the last 20 years, workin’ with horses, I ended up adoptin’ a bunch to keep them off the “kill truck”. Then about 5 years ago, I took on a bunch of wild ones off the forest, when their future fell in doubt.

A few have passed on, but we still number 15 and, give or take, it runs about $1000 per horse for a year; likely some more, but I fill in as I am able with my small social and do all the work myself, to keep the overhead down.

While we aren’t technical, a non-profit, for lack of time and skills, it’d be hard to imagine an outfit run closer to the bone, where all the help is volunteer (that’d be me) and even the help kicks in.
