A Helping Hand for Wild Bill

The holidays are hard when you’ve lost loved ones, as so many of us know all too well. It’s a particularly tricky mixture of emotions when you’ve lost someone near and dear who is actually still out there somewhere, detached from friends, family and normal life. Most of you know that Bill Holmes, lover of life, has little to nothing left. So many of you kind folks have asked us over the years how you can help. We get it though, he’s a hard man to talk to now. Because of this, most of us have no communication with him at this point. Deep down, we love him just as much as we always did.

Please join us in lending a helping hand to an incredibly generous, selfless, kind-hearted man who has lost his way. For every belly laugh, stiff drink, UGA game, Super Bowl, hunting trip, private flight, holiday or unforgettable party you’ve ever shared with him, please consider making a contribution. He needs it more now than ever. It is no exaggeration to say his life depends on it. All contributions are going towards him living a decent daily life. We aren’t saying you owe him. We aren’t saying he deserves to get back everything he once gave. We are simply saying that a good man that you once knew and loved and lived royally alongside is in serious need. Anything helps and every penny carries weight. 

We understand that most of you would prefer to give anonymously. That’s completely ok and simple to do on this site. Feel free to reach out to us directly if you have any concerns or questions. Our hope is to get him back on his feet, at least for the foreseeable future, and to make him feel loved over this holiday season and upcoming birthday in January. He has gone without for so many years and it breaks our hearts in half. I think all of you know his story and are aware that he has no one left in his corner. Feeling an uplifting rush of respect and genuine care is everything we think this man needs right now. Please help us do that for him, in memory of his old life.
