We are Camille and Jon of the Wild Beauty Farm, here with our daughter Yana Rose. We arrived here at our 7.5 acres in the Catskills in May 2020. We made prayers and offerings, planted our dreams, and committed to the land, our daughter, and our community. We took careful time getting to know the land; then, we got to work weaving our vision into this existing beautiful and wild ecosystem.
Our mission is to help people get back to the earth and The Wild Beauty Farm is an intersection of land stewardship, farming, spirituality, and health. These past two years have seen many transformations on our land and within ourselves. Yana took her first little steps here, and now she runs around barefoot with the chickens. We have hosted sacred sweat lodge ceremonies that have given much healing and connection to our community. We started a small Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) in 2021, with a focus on building community, and providing fresh, organically grown produce to our members. Our memberships have more than doubled for the 2022 farm season. We are also vending at a local Farmer’s Market. We grow and sell a diversity of vegetables and herbs. We also create tea blends, salves, and body oils from the herbs we grow and the medicinal plants wild-crafted from the land.
Our overarching goal is for the Wild Beauty Farm to be a Regenerative Learning Center with a thriving organic farm, beautiful camping and accommodations, comfortable outdoor spaces, and an indoor structure such as a yurt or geodesic dome for community events year round. We want to be able to host workshops, ceremonies, and events that help us adopt a regenerative lifestyle.

We are asking you, our community, for your support to help us bring the vision of the Wild Beauty Farm to fruition. We’ve accomplished a lot on this land in a humble, careful and respectful way. We want to do so much more here, and with your financial support, we can accomplish those goals in a shorter amount of time. 2022 for many people, will be a time of re-emerging and reconnecting after a period of isolation. It’s an important time for healing, which can be supported by communing with nature and nourishing on many levels.
Here’s what your support will help us achieve in 2022:
Hire helping hands
If we can afford to hire one or two workers, it will significantly boost our productivity. More hands to expand our garden to grow food for more people!
Creation of the Children’s Garden
The Children's Garden will be located in the center of our farm. It will be a space for the children to be free to play and use their creativity and imagination in a beautiful natural setting. It will be an outdoor classroom for interaction, sensory experiences, and learning valuable earth stewardship skills. Picture a lush well kept, edible landscape bursting with flowers, herbs, vegetables and fruits for them to enjoy!
Building of a giant LIFE Altar
An altar is a space for communing with the elements and the spiritual beings. This altar will have the beauty of simplicity, sacred geometry and alignment with the four directions. In the center will be a circle for people to gather and create ceremonies to honor the web of life. We believe that altars are like little points of light on the earth that radiate outward and affect the surrounding area positively.
Construction of a large yurt or geodesic dome
This community space will allow us to host activities year-round, even in winter. In this space, Camille can teach classes, we can host retreats, and Jon can facilitate talking circles and offer workshops about regenerative lifestyle. We can also use this space for children’s playgroups and classes when the weather isn't suitable for being outdoors. This yurt will be an integral part of the Wild Beauty vision in the future, a year-round sacred space for learning and playing.
Add more animals to the ecosystem
By introducing goats, we can give back fertility to the land in perpetuity, and it also means more food (milk) for our community.
Additional funds are needed for:
-Building materials to build infrastructure to support more animals
-More compost to expand our no-till system
-Construction of a shed for the Sweat Lodge materials
-Creation of water storage and irrigation system
-Farm tools: a seeder and greens harvester
-Hiring an excavator to dig more ponds
-Gravel to help with drainage issues
Invest in the world you want to see
Please support this project if you want to see more small local farms, communities, and families living in harmony with nature and children learning beautiful ways of living.
We appreciate all of your contributions, big or small.
Much love to you all,
