Wild is the first anthology created by Moor Imagination, a community of writers and artists based on Dartmoor, brought together by a shared love of creativity, place, and the wild landscape we call home.

This collection features original, unpublished writing and artwork from local members, all inspired by the theme “Wild.” The pieces celebrate the freedom, beauty, and untamed spirit of the moors, capturing personal responses to the land and the creative connections it fosters within our community.

We’re raising funds to cover the printing of our first anthology, allowing us to produce a full print run for community distribution. The books will be shared locally and with supporters, helping us place this collective work into the hands of readers and celebrate the talent within our area. Every donation will go directly towards printing costs.

Moor Imagination matters deeply to me because it has created a welcoming space where local voices feel encouraged, supported, and confident enough to share their work, many for the very first time.

This project is entirely community-led and made with care, collaboration, and love for place.
