**I have left this gofund me open to anybody who would still like to contribute towards Wilburs ongoing health care. His goal was reached for medical bills and medication. Going forward, his medical bills monthly are going to be in the $300-$400 range.
He requires on a monthly (some on month and half) basis:
0.5ml Syringes ($40 a box)
One Touch Glucose testing strips ($85 a box)
One Touch Lancets ($70-$80 a box)
Insulin ($90 per vial)
Diabetic Wet Canned Cat Food ($84 a case)
Thank you to EVERYBODY for the incredible support. Wilbur and I are both really appreciative and overwhelmed by the unbelievable response and support.
We love you all very much and cant Thank you all enough.
UPDATE: Wilbur has been diagnosed with diabetes. He also has an internal infection due to his ongoig underlying issue. He needs insulin and antibiotics immediately to help turn his kidneys around!!
My best friend is sick and needs help.
As most of you already know, Wilbur is my best friend in the entire world.
I have had Wilbur for 10 going on 11 years. Along the way he has met many of my friends and family members, who seem to instantly fall for his chubby loveable charm, understandably so.
Over the past few weeks, it has become extremely evident that something is going on that is effecting Wilburs health.
His weight has dropped drastically, he's been vomiting off and on, peeing far more than average and his energy levels are almost none existent.
As of today, he seems to not be eating and weak to the point of falling over.
I am asking for some help to be able to figure out what is going on with my best friend. He is the biggest mental support system I have in my life.
Any time I've been in need of saving, he has been there for me. And now it's my turn to help him.
I am in a horrible financial situation following the events that have transpired over the past year and am currently living month to month, while waiting to see if I will be accepted for CPP disability.
I am not the kind of person to ask for help like this, but I have come to a point of desperation and not knowing what other options I really have.
With examination, blood work and X-rays, I'm looking at about $2000 in vet bills, that I literally don't have at the moment.
Anything helps. Please if you have ever met Wilbur or have any idea how dear to my heart he is, consider helping out.
I know this is a horrible time of year, but I can't lose my best friend.
