Surrounded by his family, Chad took his final breath at 3:06pm Thursday, February 6th. Thank you for all those who have donated or will donate. Dear Family and Friends,

Many of you have reached out, asking how you can support the Wilbanks family during this difficult time. After speaking with Sharon, she agreed to let me set up a GoFundMe to help with both immediate and future expenses, as the family navigates this uncertain journey.

Here’s what happened: On the afternoon of Saturday, January 25th, Chad was found unresponsive but still breathing at their home. It’s unclear how long he had been in that state. 911 was called, and he was life-flighted to a hospital in Montgomery, where it was determined that he had suffered a brain bleed which led to an acute hemorrhagic stroke. Chad underwent emergency surgery to relieve pressure on his brain. As of 11am on January 27th, he remains unresponsive to commands, though there are small, encouraging signs of movement in his arms and legs. The extent of the brain damage is still unknown, and the family faces a long road ahead filled with uncertainties.

Through it all, Sharon, Amanda, and Olivia are holding on to their faith, trusting in God to guide them through each moment. They are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and encouragement they have received from so many of you. Your support has been a source of strength, and they continue to ask for your prayers for a miracle, believing in the power of Jesus to bring complete restoration to Chad’s health.
