As the daughter of this amazing human being, I would like to start off by saying I couldn't have asked for a better person to raise me. I look up to my dad more than anyone I have ever known; His positive soul and spirit have always brought smiles to anyone who is lucky enough to know him. Wil has always been there for everyone he has in his life no matter the circumstances, especially me. If I was ever lost or didn't know what to do he would comfort me and convince me that I'll find my way and everything will be okay in the end, turns out he was always right. My dad is the most hard working person I know, no matter the conditions whether he is sick or injured he never missed a day of work, and he was good at what he did, always following through and never gave up until he completed it. He always worked to provide and satisfy others before he did himself and that's one of the biggest qualities I admire in him and wish to gain for myself. Recently this summer we got the news that he was in the hospital and had cancer, hearing that our entire family was devastated and went to visit him. Previously after our first visit with him at the hospital we found out he had pancreatic cancer. As we all know nothing ever good comes from having cancer and we knew this would be something we would have to overcome as a family. My dad was never one to have his hands out asking for anything no matter the struggles, but this time I believe it's time to give back to someone who has impacted so many peoples lives positively. Unfortunately he is no longer able to work considering the fact of the state of condition he is in right now, which brings along the difficulty of not being able to pay for rent, bills, food in the fridge and now medical bills. Good days, bad days, up and down, no matter what ends up happening, my sister and mother and I, along with his own friends have been there to support him. My dad has not yet chosen what treatment he will be doing, but we have all been looking into it and what will be best and have the most effective outcome. Anything helps and I say that firsthand because I've always believed in giving to those worthy of it. My dad certainly has the kindest heart, and is only ever trying to make everyone happy, which is why in his time of need I believe he deserves to be lent a hand to. I've said it once but I don't mind saying it again but my dad is one of the reasons I am who I am and without him I'm not sure what I would do, I've learned so much from him already and I don't want it to end now. I need my dad and I know numerous other people do too and I will not let him lose this fight to cancer. I know he is doing his best to be strong like he always is, but in times like these the support of others means masses. I remember only ever good times with my papa and I love him he means the universe to me. I hope whatever happens I'll have him in the end and it will all be okay. Thank you for reading, stay safe and well wishes. SCREW CANCER.
