Update!!!
February 2025
As of the last post we remember that Mahmoud and Reham got an eviction notice to leave their area. After this there was a time of constant fear. A lot of area got bombed with flying drones and a constant sound, of whatever war vehicle you can imagine. A horrible encounter which is not fit for any child or person for that matter. Things that Adam has seen are not of the faintest of hearts, no one should encounter any of such horrifying scenes of death and destruction.
Since then we have been patiently, angrily waiting for a ceasefire, admits all the bullshit news that we have been hearing day in day out, the attacks on the West Bank, the promises, the lies, the sheer amount of empathy is absolutely horrifying. The intensified massacres nearing the ceasefire was especially frightening. We talk every day, every morning, even just to know you are alive. Because there is nothing else to talk about, there is nothing, the prices are high, there is no aid, there is no food. Nothing actually changes really. It’s deeply disturbing, how the media and all our capitalized events have been trying to dominate masses with political correctness and honestly weak journalistic ability of calling the animal by its name; Genocide.
When the ceasefire came, we didn’t believe it for a second, the cheers, the laughter, the breath of air, the silence, the noise and the celebration is on of the most deepest emotional moments I’ve had in a while. It gave us a glimpse of hope. But this of course didn’t last as long as you would wish for. The hostilities were around the corner, when news came about the attack on the West-Bank, the violence around the people returning to the North, and the news that the North is barely standing, the complete destruction of the buildings, the streets, the schools, the hospitals, everything.
But the Palestinians showed their resilience and rose up, to walk together, they migrated together, back to their houses, their neighbors, their corners.
This was of course no different for Mahmoud, they have to go back, back to their house, rebuild, rebuild their lives, their livelihood. Mahmoud decided to first go to the North by himself, to check on the house, see the destruction, see if there was anything left of the house to even rebuild. The travel was long and tiring, by foot, any way how they will reach the North, they will reach it. And they did and Mahmoud also succeeded ins journey to the North. But when he arrived the house was mostly destroyed. There is a faint looking structure left. Rubble everywhere, almost like a desert, no water, no electricity, no food, no aid. The idea, that a cease fire would bring structural relieve for the people in Gaza is a delusion. Yes, some aid has entered, some people have been evacuated indeed, but the so called global pressure on Israel never seems enough to give the Palestinians anything. This is no less true for Mahmoud and his family. Because it’s not just Mahmoud, Reham and Adam, it’s their parents, parents in law, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, grandparents. A whole family tree consisting of 17 people. 17 people, to provide for… We need to understand that we the journey has only just started. But it’s a start, there is relieve but not nearly enough for them to build up their lives again. That’s where we come in, when the leading forces in this world cannot decide, we will decide for then and resettle the Palestinians back to their own land in Gaza. We have to acknowledge that we need each other, more than ever and even more to come. We need to stand side by side, to form a front against the animals, that want to rid the Palestinians of their land. Gaza is not for sale.
Please reach out to Mahmoud, to give him courage, love, strength and perseverance for the time to come. Please try to donate what you can miss, please keep speaking out not only for Mahmoud’s sake, but for all the people in Gaza, resist where there is resistance needed. Disrupt where is need for people to open their eyes and ears, for people who are still denying this genocide.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!! // 11.12.2024
My dearest donators, friends family and loved ones..
There are a lot of updates, some good, some bad..
We have transferred a second amount to Mahmoud which he has received and was able to get some fruit and vegetables and some flour. They were also able to provide Adam with diapers. All of these things were highly necessary. Mahmoud, Reham and Adam have been going through a very difficult time, where there were barely able to get any food. They are all under fed and their immune system is declining since the cold weather has arrived and it’s hard to keep them selves warm. Therefore the donation that we made, was a small spark of hope is there dire times.
We were also able to host a Christmas Market in Berlin, where we were able to sell clothes and all the funds we have donated to this cause. I am happy that I am surrounded by people that care for our case and there was a warm feeling of togetherness at this event, since there were a lot of causes for Gaza. I want to thank @90mil for given us the opportunity to raise money for Mahmoud and his family. We raised almost 300EUR which was a heart warming feeling, but just a smidge of what they actually need. We will not lose hope and we will continue for Mahmoud’s and his family their survival.
Unfortunately we had bad news today. The area where Mahmoud is staying, the Maghazi area, is being evacuated. Because Mahmoud is from the North he has no contact in the area that he is staying now. Meaning that moving from this area, which includes a total of 17 people of his family, is a very big risk. They have no contacts to relocate, they have no money to move, there is no safety. This is very very concerning. My heart goes out to all the families, mothers, fathers, children, grandparents, that are being forced to evacuate again. We will pray for their survival and for their protection, may God be with them every step of the way, in every hard moment, in every sad moment, in every moment.
UPDATE!!!! 11/11/2024
The beautiful thing about this GoFundMe is that your donations have a direct effect Mahmoud and his familie's life. You can see the direct effect of the money you donate!
We have successfully donated the first and second amount of around 800 euro's.
Unfortunately due to the high prices of the exchange offices Mahmoud managed to get around 2000 Shekels. This is a little more than 500 euro's.

Mahmoud and I are in daily contact about their situation, struggles, heart ship and of course what he is able to provide with these donations. As you might have seen or heard, the prices in Gaza for food, cleaning supplies and clothes are absolutely insane and the prices keep on rising. Meaning it gets harder and harder to provide food and warm clothes with winter around the corner.
Below you will find a few pictures of the things Mahmoud was able to provide with these donations.
Vitamins and supplements:

Jacket for Reham:

Milk for Adam:

Diapers and shower gels:

I am very happy that with these donations we are able to help Mahmoud, unfortunately the situation in Gaza is still very very harsh and not a fit living for anyone, especially if you have a new born child. They also have not been able to pay rent for there place, so that it what the next payment will be for!
We are planning to make another payment to Mahmoud very soon and would hope to send him as much as possible! Please share and donate so we can increase the amount we transfer.

In Berlin we have been making efforts to increase the donation on this GoFundMe by handing out flyers, putting stickers around town and asking people to help spread the word. There will be more efforts like this and others in the future. Of course we have seen the increase of people hosting fundraiser and understand that you might not be able to donate to every family in need, but by simply sharing the fundraiser, talking about their situation and sending virtual love to Mahmoud is already a blessing. Please consider donating, every little amount will help Mahmoud, Reham and Adam with their situation.
If you are interested in helping us out with raising money for Mahmoud, no matter where you live, you can help!

I want to express my highest appreciation for Mahmoud.
Mahmoud is truly a wonderful soul, he has touched my heart ever since we have been in contact and we have started this project together. He has so much willpower, perseverance and resilience and we stand side by side in this fight for survival. May we see each other on the order side of this genocide, may we meet in peace and may we forever strive for justice and liberation.
I love you Mahmoud.
Please if you can share some words of love and power to Mahmoud <3
Much love and power from Marit Sanders.
Hi, my name is Marit Sanders from Berlin and I am raising money on behave of Mahmoud Ayesh, his wife Reham and their little son Adam.
They fled from the North since the beginning of the war in October 2023 because they lived close to where the first danger proliferated. Mahmoud with his then newlywed wife, Reham, fled without being able to take anything with them and hoped to return their home the next day. They fled South. Since that day in Mahmoud's words, the sun has not shone. He grew up with dreams, some of which were achieved by marrying his love and having his infant son Adam. But it breaks their hearts to have to raise Adam in such dangerous and hopeless conditions. Adam was born in March 2024.
Unfortunately Reham's ambition to finish her studies in English Language and Literature is also not possible anymore. Since their first relocation, the violence and conditions have not stopped. Because heading south, in an attempt to cross the Egyptian boarder, failed and is extremely dangerous. Last June 2024, Mahmoud fell ill with hepatitis due to impure drinking water, contaminated food and toilets. Adam was about 4 months old at the time. He felt the pain throughout his whole body.
As you can imagine, many moments are filled with hopelesness and most of all there is a lot of grief. Also due to losing family members. They had a normal life, newly married and facing a bright future. But life is simple now, it revolves around paying the rent for their tent, making sure Adam gets enough food. The simplest things we take for granted are almost impossible for them. This is currently their living situation.
The daily expenses are high because there are few resources that come into Gaza. With this fundraising I hope to raise some money to help pay the daily expenses.
The expenses that this GoFundMe is intended to cover include
Cleaning supplies for us and Adam $30
Adam's diapers every week $47
Adam's milk every four days $9.78
Phone charging $4.25
Healthy drinking water $8.50
Water for boiling $2
Bread $2
Minimum daily meal is $20
Coffee or Nescafe drink $3.50
Indoor room $4.25
Beverage $5.50
Washing water $8.50
Firewood $3
Internet cards $2
$37 per day to rent
This totals approximately $2,850 per month as a minimum expense.
Since October 7, thousands of families have been displaced, torn apart and killed.
Thousands of children have been orphaned and parents have lost their children. All we can do is listen to them, the stories they tell, support them in time of grief. Donate what you can and together care for those who need it most. I hope you want to help Mahmoud and his family!

/////////////////////////////////////////DUTCH////////////////////////////////////////////
Hoi! Adam is geboren in Maart 2024.

Adam was toen ongeveer 4 maanden oud.

Adam's luiers elke week $47
Adam's melk elke vier dagen $9,78
Telefoon opladen $4.25
Gezond drinkwater $8,50
Water om te koken $2
Brood $2
De minimale dagelijkse maaltijd is $20
Koffie of Nescafé drankje $3.50
Binnenkamer $4.25
Drank $5.50
Waswater $8.50
Brandhout $3
Internet kaarten $2
