Hello Everyone,
As many of you know, my sister Melyssa was recently diagnosed with a very aggressive form of breast cancer.  She was diagnosed less than a month ago, and it sure has been an emotional whirlwind for all of us.  I am starting this campaign to raise money for well... Wigs, Hats, and Medical Expenses for Melyssa.  Melyssa has just had her first Chemo treatment on August 25th, and she is taking a type of Chemo that's called "The Red Devil" for 6 months.  While this "Red Devil" is going to ravage this cancer, it is also going to ravage my beautiful sisters' hair.  She is told it is going to start falling out in 2 weeks.  And lets face it, everyone knows that Melyssa's meticulously coiffed hair is definitely part of her identity.  I have been doing a lot of wig research recently, and WOW are there a lot of options.  The ones that are the most natural are also the ones that are the most expensive.  I know none of us would even allow my beautiful sister to be putting no "raggady ass" wig on her head.  We all want her to fight this battle with beauty, confidence, and strength.  I would like to get these funds as soon as possible so that we can get a jump on her hair falling out. She also has a very large deductible for her health insurance and not to mention has been out of work due to the pandemic, which has hit her hard.  I know how much she loves her friends and family that she is always there for anyone in their time of need.  Now I am asking those friends and family to be there for her in her time of need.
