As many of you are aware, our dear friend, Selina Boyles was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in April, 2024. Along with this diagnosis and subsequent treatment, comes hair loss, and we would first, like to help relieve some of her expenses by purchasing a wig for her. Most insurances do not cover something such as this, which is vital to maintaining normality and dignity during such a difficult time. As expected, hers does not. Selina will begin chemotherapy on May 14th, and she will lose her hair soon after her first treatment. The cost of her wig will be approximaely $2,000. Any extra funds gathered beyond this amount will be allocated to pay for other out of pocket expenses not covered by insurance.
